Anna's Start
Anna's career began in sales at Oracle, where she developed a strong foundation before moving to a startup environment at Skillshare. At Skillshare, she worked closely with the product team, which sparked her interest in product management. Her transition to Kraftful allowed her to further explore this interest, as she took on a role building their go-to-market strategy and eventually moved into product management.
Sales and Product Management
Throughout the conversation, Anna emphasizes the similarities between sales and product management, particularly the focus on understanding and addressing customer needs. She also discusses how working in smaller companies provided her with the opportunity to wear multiple hats and gain a broad skill set, which was instrumental in her career pivot.
